Data modelling in three dimensions is the first step in utilising geological, geochemical, geophysical and drilling data to create an asset that enables a full economic assessment of your deposit. An understanding of the controls on mineralisation is important in determining which factors to model as hard or soft boundaries for the purposes of resource estimation. This understanding comes from our comprehensive approach to gathering verified exploration data.
We use Micromine software to generate three-dimensional wire frames of the important geological features. These are in turn used to constrain the block model for geostatistical analysis, resource estimation and resource reporting.
Our staff can run resource estimates in-house. For major projects, we work closely with our strategic partners who have considerable experience in this field. This also enables the generation of reserves and reserve reports with the addition of engineering, metallurgical and other economic parameters.
All geological modelling and resource estimation programmes are conducted and reported according to the guidelines of JORC and NI 43-101.
